What Is A BiPAP Machine?
BiPAP stands for Bilevel Positive Away Pressure. It is also known as a Bilevel CPAP device. BiPAP machines work in the same way as CPAP machines, but offer more breathing support. BiPAP, or bilevel machine, sends air through your mask via tubing. BiPAP has two pressure settings, one for inhaling, and one for exhaling, unlike CPAP, which uses a constant, single pressure.
Who May Need A BiPAP Machine?
Don’t risk your life if you have a serious condition that affects your lungs. The most severe conditions require the best treatments. The VentMed DS7 BiPAP Machine is a highly reliable machine that can treat the following conditions.

If your breathing completely stops, your BiPAP machine is designed to prompt breathing to get you back on track—without waking you up.
Ultra-Quiet Operation Helps You Sleep Soundly
This device features multi-stage noise reduction technology. It is less than 26 decibels (dB), making it quieter than a whisper and comparable to leaves rustling.
Offers a Wide Range of Pressure Settings and Auto-Ramp Functionality
The VentMed DS7 BiPAP Machine can be set to any pressure setting (from 4 to 25 cmH2O), to ensure you get the pressure you require. You can adjust the ramp time from 0 to 60 seconds. There is also an auto-ramp function that will alter ramp time while you sleep.
Three Modes Automatically Adjust Based On Your Breathing.
Three operating modes are available for the VENTMED DS7 BiPAP Machine: spontaneous (S), spontaneous/timed (ST), and timed (T). The device activates IPAP settings automatically when flow sensors detect spontaneous inspiratory efforts. After that, it cycles to EPAP which increases oxygenation. The machine can trigger IPAP/EPAP cycling at an established rate. This is usually expressed as BPM (breaths per minute). ST mode triggers IPAP settings, but uses a backup rate to ensure that you reach the minimum BPM even if you do not breathe naturally.
Sleep Tracking with SD Card
It comes with a SD card that will allow you to keep detailed data about your sleep disorder. The new SD card will allow you to store your sleep apnea information, which will enable you to get therapy support from your doctor, and compile compliance reports.
