How Can DreamSleep APAP Help You Sleep Soundly?
Advanced Events Detection
With its up-to-date algorithm, VentMed APAP Machine DS6 can identify and analyze different types of respiratory events, letting the device accurately and automatically adjusts the air pressure to provide immediate relief and ensure that you receive optimal therapy.
Meanwhile, all the therapy insights in 2 years are saved in a SD card. The data can be reviewed on the device’s screen, a windows computer, which can be shared with your physician. So you can always get the information needed for compliance.
Monitored Respiratory Events
- OAI (Obstructive Apnea Index)
- AHI (Apnea–Hypopnea Index)
- PB (Periodic Breathing)
- FL (Flow Limitation)
- CAI (Central Apnea Index)
- HI (Hypopnea Index)
- SNI (Snore Index)
- RERA (Respiratory Effort Related Arousal)
Real-Time Monitoring
Real-time data collection, analysis, and instant pressure compensation when air-leakages are detected.
Auto Air-Leakage Compensation
With auto air-leakage compensation, the CPAP machine can detect the amount of leak in real-time and make automatic adjustments to the air pressure to maintain the desired therapeutic pressure.
This helps to ensure that the patient receives the appropriate amount of air pressure, despite any minor leaks that may occur. The result is a more comfortable and effective treatment experience, with fewer disturbances throughout the night.
Two Therapy Modes (APAP & CPAP)
VentMed APAP DS6 can be set in either CPAP or AUTO mode. It is like having two machines in one. If your prescription calls for a fixed pressure, the device can be set up in CPAP mode. If you need to be titrated to a new 95th percentile pressure, the machine can be switched to AUTO.
Your pressure needs can change with time, health and even sleep positioning. Unlike a Manual CPAP, the APAP adapts to these changes and provides the correct pressure for every apnea event.
Integrated Heated Humidifier
CPAP therapy can be uncomfortable especially when dry air is being forced into your airways all night long.
Our CPAP with heated humidifier keeps providing a steady stream of warm, moist air that helps alleviate dryness and irritation in your throat and nasal passages.
With adjustable humidity levels from 1-5, you can customize the amount of moisture to suit your specific needs, ensuring a perfect night’s sleep every time.
More Superior Features You’ll Love
When EPR is activated, the CPAP machine detects when the user is exhaling and reduces the air pressure accordingly. The pressure is then increased back to the prescribed level when the user inhales.
By reducing the pressure during exhalation, EPR can help promote more natural breathing patterns and prevent airway collapse or obstruction. This can improve the effectiveness of therapy and reduce the likelihood of discomfort, which can lead to more consistent use of the machine and better sleep quality.
Our CPAP machine detects when the mask is being worn and automatically initiates therapy after you taking 3 deep breathing cycles. And when the mask is removed, the machine will automatically stop in a few seconds, conserving energy and ensuring a longer lifespan for the device.
The Mask Off / Power Off alarm is designed to alert you in the event that your mask is accidentally removed during the night or a power outage or other interruption. The advanced technology in our CPAP machine detects when the mask is no longer in place and alerts you with a gentle audible alarm. This ensures that you can quickly and easily resume therapy and prevent any disruption to your sleep.
Experience a gentle and gradual transition to sleep apnea therapy. The Auto Ramping function is designed to provide a gradual increase in air pressure at the beginning of therapy. This helps you acclimate to the pressure and ease into therapy, leading to a more comfortable and effective experience overall.
With the Auto Ramping function, you can customize the duration of the ramp period to fit your individual needs and preferences. Whether you need a longer or shorter ramp time, our advanced CPAP machine allows you to make adjustments that work best for you.
Our consumable parts, like masks, filters, and tubings, are designed to be universal, meaning that they can be easily found in most medical stores. No need to worry about compatibility issues or ordering from specific suppliers, ensuring that your therapy is never interrupted.

FAQs
The choice between a nasal mask and a full face mask for a CPAP machine depends on a few factors, including your individual breathing patterns and personal preferences.
A nasal mask is designed to cover the nose only and is a popular choice for patients who breathe primarily through their nose. It can be a good option for those who find full face masks too bulky or uncomfortable. Nasal masks tend to be less intrusive than full face masks, which can be beneficial for people who are claustrophobic or have difficulty adjusting to the sensation of wearing a mask.
On the other hand, a full face mask covers both the nose and mouth and can be a good option for people who breathe through their mouth or have nasal obstructions, such as congestion or allergies. It can also be a good option for people who tend to breathe through their mouth during sleep. Full face masks can be slightly more cumbersome than nasal masks, but they provide a secure and comfortable fit for people who need the extra coverage.
* According to our experience, 95% customers would choose Nasal Mask for a CPAP Machine. So the machine comes with nasal mask by default. But if you need a full face mask in stead, just remark it at checkout. We will send the face mask as requested.
You will know that therapy is on when the air fan icon is rotated. The current treatment pressure is shown in white words.
During ramp time the pressure is gradually increasing and you will see a blue triangle icon on the screen once the prescribed pressure is reached.
The screen will go black automatically after a short period of time. You can press any button to turn it back on.
The device has many sensors with high-sensitivity, and they alarm with ‘beeping’ sound when detects air-leakage. Please inspect the mask and tube carefully to make sure they are fitted correctly and not leaking. You can read air-leakage data on the screen, if data is over 30, it means the air-leakage is occurring.
The machine stops working automatically when it detects mask off, as the protective system works to avoid motor idling. So please wear mask well before turn on machine to avoid alarming.
Yes sure. The device has two therapy modes – CPAP and Auo CPAP / APAP.
In work mode CPAP, press shuttle button to highlight Pressure. Rotate shuttle button to adjust working pressure. You can set pressure 4-20 cmH2O for CPAP mode.
Clean the device weekly as described. Refer to the mask user guide for detailed instructions on cleaning your mask.
- Wash the water tank and air tubing in warm water using mild detergent. Or sanitize them by using a CPAP cleaner & sanitizer. Do not wash in a dishwasher or washing machine.
- Rinse the water tank and air tubing thoroughly and allow to dry out of direct sunlight and/or heat.
- Wipe the exterior of the device with a dry cloth.
(it feels like getting too much air
If you are feeling too much air at the beginning of therapy, the Ramp may be turned off. You can turn on the Ramp time and the pressure will increase gradually at a pleased speed.
It feels like I am not getting enough air. Ramp may be in progress. Just wait for air pressure to build up or turn Ramp Time off.
